Around these parts.

Autumn that is.  The leaves on our street have started to change and fall.  The natives were grwoing restless and with three kiddos under 5 in the house we HAD to get out of the house.  The fog has burned off and the sun started to peak out a little.  So we went on a leaf hunt.  I took pictures and the kids got some fresh air.  Enjoy!

Lilli found some tiny pinecones or “babies” as she called them.  I think she might have been trying to say berries.  I’m not really sure.

See the pretty tree?  I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!

The cake, that is.  It came out awesome.  Rachel brought all her tips and character cake pans.  We decided on the Care Bear one and of course you have to star tip that sucker.  So here it is from start to finish!

I’m everything to someone.

It’s late and I can’t sleep.  Such is the story of my life though.  Recently my email program decided to delete ALL my messages but none of the folders that I saved.  Very weird and I did not like it one bit, I might add.  So in a vain attempt to make myself tired, or maybe bore myself to sleep, I decided to clean up my folders.  I came across an email from a someone and it was actually just what I needed.  It made me smile.  It was a song.  A sappy, mushy song.  They heard it and they tought of me.  Me.  They hunted it down online and sent it to me.  Coming across it made me realize that I’m still here.

I had great plans to have my house done.  Not so much.  I ended up doing a lot more.  Katie and I bought her a dress and shoes for work.  I drooled over the Coach counter.  Found some shoes that will be going on my Christmas list.  Got my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the year.  People watched.  Found lots of books that I can’t wait to read.  Found an Amy Butler book that will be added to my Christmas list.  Took silly pictures with my cell phone.  Bought motor oil AND looked up the proper filter for Katie’s car.  Who needs a man?  Looked at all the amazing leaves.  Breathed a huge breath of Autum air.  Came home and was completely ignored.  Watched She’s The Man.  Ate some pizza with the most amazing tasting olives ever.  Wrote a little more on the never ending blog before I got overwhelmed.  Started a Wist.  Thought about someone.  Checked my Myspace.  Checked my Facebook.  Blog stalked.  Drooled over a lens.  I am not thinking about bed.  Sleep?

Ryan asked me to make a bracelet for a co-worker’s daughter who is in the hospital, and I fell back in love with making them.  A lot.  I dug down and channeled my 12 year old self (although I didn’t have to dig very far 😉 ) and whipped one up during an episode of Desperate Housewives (thank you online abc!).  So I decided to make one for T and her girlies.  I had intended this one to be for Lil, but I got carried away and remembered that she was a purple girl anyway.  Ah well!  As always click pictures to embiggen!

You and me, we couldn’t stand being normal!

It’s true, my little family and I really don’t do anything by the books.  Co sleeping?  Cloth diapers?  Pancakes and waffles for dinner?  ow about Christmas Funfetti cake in October!  Yup, that’s what we just made 😉

Yes, the snowman bowl was a must.  OF COURSE!

Boy, look at all that red dye.  Hmm, maybe this wasn’t such a good idea…

I’ll let you know how zinged out my kiddos will be after having some.

Hey! There Was Sun!

Yesterday was so nice out here and a nice break from the grey that we have been having.  We slept in and then got ready to head to Alex’s soccer game.  Although I hate going ot them.  In my defense he ALWAYS gets hurt when I go.  Yesterday was no exception, as he got a nice kick to the HEAD.  Ugh, plus the fact that all you can do is sit there and hope that he gets up.  Lilli loves going to games and has been going the past couple of weeks with Tricia to everyone’s games  Kaleb has no intrest.  At all.  Oh well.  I did get some cute pictures!  I couldn’t figure out why I was getting some crappy shots and noticed that the camera was on full auto.  Duh.  I need to tweak with one of the photos a little bit, but I don’t feel like it at the moment 🙂

Auto focus.  Bleagh.

MUCH better 🙂

Harbor Power!

AND, I finally got the adapter to get the pictures off my phone!  Lame, but it’s true.  So I thought I’d share some of my fun 🙂

Well, if you say so!

and last, but ot least:
